World Refugee Day is a United Nations designated day recognized annually on June 20. This day aims to honour refugees within our communities and all over the world and acknowledges the strength and courage of individuals forced to flee their home country.
This year’s theme, “For a World Where Refugees Are Welcomed,” emphasizes the importance of global solidarity in protecting, supporting, and creating equal opportunities for refugees.
