National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+)

Today marks the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+) in Canada — also known as Red Dress Day.

Red dresses are displayed as powerful symbols, representing the Indigenous women, girls, Trans, and Two-Spirit individuals who have gone missing or been murdered.

We invite you to wear red today as an act of remembrance and solidarity — to honour their lives and to stand with communities calling for justice and meaningful change.
